Workout Routine That Would Be Fun in Summer

For a lot of people, it is quite hard to work out in summer as the body sweats a lot and the energy levels are down. Here is the best workout routine that would be fun to do in summer and won’t take a lot of time.

You don’t need to go to the gym or park to do these exercises, you can easily do them at home. If you have an air conditioner in your room, you can also turn it on while exercising. Let’s get started!

  • Start with Running

    Run for at least 5 to 10 minutes before you start working out. This warms up the body and is quite good for mental health as well. If you don’t want to run outside, then you can Run in place for 2 minutes at home to warm up the body.

    • Jumping Jacks

      Jumping Jack is a great total body workout exercise and hence it should be included in your workout routine. Do 2 sets of 20 reps and rest 15 to 30 seconds between each set.

      • Plank

        Plank is a great exercise that helps to build core strength, and hence this exercise should not be skipped at all. It helps to maintain a healthy posture, improves flexibility, metabolism, and mental health. Do 2 sets of 60 seconds each and rest for 30 seconds between each set.

        • Hip Raises

          Hip Raise is a fantastic exercise that builds strength in the glutes and teaches better balance. Do 3 sets of 20 reps and rest for 15 seconds between each set.

          • Bicycle Crunches

            The bicycle crunches if added to the workout routine helps to slim down the waist, build core strength, and improves flexibility. This exercise also boots up the heart rate and is great for burning more calories. Do 3 sets of 20 reps for a slimmer waist.

            • Mountain Climbers

              Mountain climbers just like bicycle crunches boost up the heart rate and burn calories at a great pace. This exercise helps to strengthen the back, shoulders, and arms. Do 2 sets of 20 reps and rest for 30 seconds between both sets.

              This workout routine is quite fun and easy to do and involves almost all muscles of the body. You can do this workout routine 3 to 4 times a week.

              Remember to take enough sleep, drink plenty of water and eat light food. Also, don’t do these exercises outdoor between 10 am to 4 pm when the sun is at its peak.
